About the Presenter
Kathy Service is a Nurse Practitioner and Dementia Care Specialist with over 40 years of experience. Since completing the Alzheimer’s Association’s Partners in Alzheimer’s Training in 1995, she has been a dedicated volunteer and trainer. Kathy actively contributes to Dementia Friends, the Pioneer Valley Memory Care Initiative and serves on several local and national boards, including Highland Valley Elder Services, Northampton Neighbors, the Northampton Jazz Festival and the National Task Group on Intellectual Disabilities and Dementia. A native of Hadley, Kathy lives in Northampton with her beloved 14-year-old, three-legged Westie, Leon.
