All-Inclusive Memory Care
Linda Manor Assisted Living offers the area’s only all-inclusive assisted living memory care program. One all-inclusive monthly fee includes all covered services, housing, and three daily meals. This unique approach to assisted living memory care means residents receive as much personal assistance needed for all covered services whenever they need it without additional expenses for levels of care. The only additional costs are for telephone and cable, guest meals and any specialty services.
Personalized Care and Attention
Residents living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias can discover new possibilities as a part of our Life Enrichment Memory Care neighborhood. Our memory care program is limited to 20 residents for personalized care and attention. Modeled after a typical home, our community has a spacious open floor plan for common areas, with private apartments clustered in neighborhoods. Apartments are sized to help minimize confusion, and each has its own bathroom, shower, and emergency alert system.
Resident Care Assistants meet residents within their reality, providing supportive assistance and a life of dignity and respect. Enhanced activities are available throughout the day and in the evening to meet personal habits and preferences.
Embracing Their Reality
Built around the philosophy of habilitation, our program meets residents in their own world. The habilitation model provides a framework for understanding, communicating, and interacting with people who have dementia, and was developed jointly by Dr. Paul Raia of the Alzheimer’s Association and Joanne Koenig Coste, Alzheimer’s advocate and author.
Programming focuses on the skills and abilities that remain for a failure-free environment where residents can succeed and feel good about themselves. By joining the resident within their reality, caregivers create an environment where residents can succeed and feel good about themselves.
When Memory Care Needs Progress
Linda Manor’s Life Enrichment Memory Care Program is designed for those benefiting from assisted living. When care needs progress beyond what can be provided in an assisted living setting, families may choose to bring in additional care providers or to explore transition to a skilled nursing center. Linda Manor Extended Care on our shared campus offers a higher level of certified memory care, and our residents receive priority access, subject to availability.
